Nicole Anderson, the wonderful women who the center is named after, would be so happy to hear Maria's comments. I'm sure there are many more children in Barrabquilla who feel the same as Maria!
The CI Community Centers are the source of so many, many benefits for thousand and thousands of children CI serves around the world. Get involved in a Friends of CI group in your community and find out how you might be able to participate in or contribute to fundraising activities for a new community center building or helping improve exisitng buildings.
The Kansas City Friends of CI group is fundraising for a new community center in Kenya, Africa. Why not find out how you can help too! It's exciting to be a part of a campaign which will help so many children. I'm glad I live in Kansas City, and can be so close to headquarters. Give the main office a call on their toll free number and learn more about other Friends groups around the United States.
Look at Maria's face, and imagine how many other impoverished children will smile too when they have a wonderful center where they can be cared for.
